Posting a video for dummies
I had a friend, (not that bright) ask me how to post videos on blogger. I laughed because I knew how easy it was, however I held my tongue and told him I would ask people that read this blog to walk him through the process. I think his self-esteem would be well served if he were to find out that it was easy but a really difficult ordeal. Thanks in advance for helping my friend JW
It seems from recent correspondence that my friend is having problems posting any media, so it could be blogger, but I bet the poor fool still needs help.

Step 1. Convert all files formatted for Quicktime so that they will play on Windows Media Player. If they will already play on Media Player, convert them to Quicktime.
Step B. Construct an elaborate series of ropes and pulleys. This system must include both a burning candle, which will cut through the rope at some point, and a live duck. The object of this contraption should be to capture a mouse without killing it.
Step 3a. Train the mouse to program HTML.
Step 3b. Repeatedly make jokes about the animal that you have captured having the same name as the piece of computer hardware you have trained it to use. Continue until either one of the following happens:
1. Someone commits an act of violence against you.
2. A close relationiship desolves.
Step 5. Insert tab A. into slot B. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Step H. Annex the Sudetenland.
Step 7. Call customer service. While you are on hold, learn conversational Hindi. You will have plenty of time and the Hindi will come in handy, as customer service is located in Mumbai. This call is not toll free.
Step 8. (THIS STEP INTENTIONALY LEFT BLANK)
Step 9. Repeat Step 8, this time going anti-clockwise.
Step 10. Staple the videos directly to your computer screen.

Winters: Friends is what we call in the business an altruistic IT guy.
1. Make a sandwich board that says, "The "H" in "Phat" is pronounced "Erin O'Brien."
2. Remove your clothing.
3. Don sandwich board.
4. Walk the streets, moaning in a haunting sort of way and occasionally exclaiming, "The End Is Nigh!"
