My Fall From Grace

About halfway through the video you will see a man in red with the #127 on his number plate, he will take a great fall into the pool of sharks. What goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas... not true.
I went to Vegas in November to fall/ride my brothers bike in the relatively new sport of enduro-cross. I for the sake of pleasing the crowd staged this fall. Your welcome enduro-cross I am the guy who fell backwards into the hot pool of lava, I shook it off and finished my practice lap.Yes this is for true other than the part about the sharks and the lava. Awww! Poor baby. Your "spill" was dramatic at least, and I'm sure not the biggest eff-up of the day.

At least it wasn't a vat of acid, full of sharks with fricken lazers on their heads.

helen: It was one of my many eff-up's . Whats funny is they announced the rider who had fallen in the water wrong, AJ a friend of mine earned that glory. Because my brother was wearing a Jersey with Williams across his back and rode the same bike in a different class, people thought it was him.Yet I still had a number approach me and compliment me on my spill.
I don't know about the Sharks with lazers, I think it changes their behavior and they attack and eat clumsy people.

I'm surprised OJ Simpson is not trying the "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"-defense.

zen: Good ole juice, always good fodder for the press. He has to be one of Americas most popular sociopath. Maybe a reality show with famous sociopaths competing?

leeann: Thanks, yes I was the one who was riding the borrowed bike. This is why I cushioned it from the fall off the rocks. Kinda heroic in so many ways.

At least now Fred Goldman doesn't need to buy porn--he can just watch a tape of OJ facing the indictment over and over again on a loop.

How often does someone get a tire to the face? I saw some close calls there.

zen: Fred deserves better than court porn, but it's better than nothing.

Doc: Full face helmets help with this issue, I had the entire bike fall on me and for some reason it did not break my fragile bones. It is not unusual and I include myself, riders wear, chest protectors, shoulder pads, boots, knee braces, (neck braces are the next big thing, not red)elbow guards, full face helmet and underthings.

Define 'underthings' please. In detail.

In other news, I hear Victoria's Secret has come out with chain mail chest guards.

damnsle: Underthings who said anything about what is under a rock, a sentence or even a distant planet. So as I was saying the best way to flush your toilet is to use the handle normally on the left side of the tank (as facing) unless you live South of the equator and then the handle is on the right side of the tank as facing.
Gosh its 31 degrees and I should probably turn on the heat!

This is the stuff of Endurocross legend, Josh. I'm glad to see that the editor of the video recognized your dramatic moment and added emphasis to it. Well done across the board.

sleek: Thanks, this was not an easy stunt to practice, but I am proud of the results.

Brother JW,
I see your courage has not been softened by the passage of time.

Respect as always, and it's good to see you're still breathing.

Hey Duane:
Great catch! I saw Josh fall in the water, but from my angle it did not look so, bone crushing, sinew mashing, tendon ripping, cartilage pulverizing bad. I can't believe he would treat my bike like that!

No, I'm talking about the cameramen. Those bikes are right in their grills, man!

Doc: Great point I had friends on the floor and they were a little uneasy, but no injuries yet. I suspect they will reduce the access in certain areas because of just what you mentioned. Very dangerous to be photographing, possibly as dangerous as racing.

Simon: Good to have you back, yes I am still breathing only so I can make this world not only a better place but...I lost my train of thought. Thanks JW

Toilets:I let the bike fall on me so as not to damage the thing.
