A Good Quote is Hard to Find

This is one of my favorite Mark Twain Quotes and photos like this always remind me of his words. I have to admit I did not read Pride and Prejudice nor see the movies, but this has little to do with the quote, I doubt Mr. Clemens could give two shits...

From the pen of M Twain:
I haven't any right to criticise books, and I don't do it except when I hate them. I often want to criticise Jane Austen, but her books madden me so that I can't conceal my frenzy from the reader; and therefore I have to stop every time I begin. Everytime I read 'Pride and Prejudice' I want to dig her up and beat her over the skull with her own shin-bone.
- Letter to Joseph Twichell, 9/13/1898

I have read the book and enjoyed it---but "Puddin Head Wilson" was better by far. Twain was cool.

LOL, now that's a great quote! I've never read that book either, but I'm not into sappy romance novels no matter what century they are from.
